Innovative Partnership Aims to Preserve 8.3 million Hectares of Amazon Rainforest and Promote Clean Energy

SANTA CRUZ, BOLIVIA / ACCESSWIRE / September 14, 2023 / BlueGrace Energy Bolivia is excited to announce a groundbreaking initiative that seeks to revolutionize environmental conservation and the clean energy transition in Bolivia. This pioneering partnership is motivated by a mutual dedication to safeguarding the invaluable Amazon rainforest and promoting sustainable energy practices, all while positively impacting local communities.

A leading carbon credit project development company, known for its expertise in technology solutions, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with BlueGrace Energy Bolivia. This MOU appoints the company as the exclusive carbon credit manager for an ambitious Amazon rainforest conservation project covering 8.3 million hectares in Bolivia. The company will manage carbon credit services and will be entitled to a share of the resulting credits.

Carbon credit projects in forests often face challenges due to rigorous standards. The project plans to employ cutting-edge technologies such as AI and satellite imaging for accurate carbon credit measurement. Additionally, the initiative supports social endeavors for indigenous populations, encompassing infrastructure, education, water treatment, healthcare, and transportation.

The CEO of the carbon credit company underscored the importance of preserving rainforest territories, emphasizing that technology can augment nature conservation. By harnessing machine learning, AI, blockchain, and advanced imaging techniques, the company aims to protect vast expanses of land while adhering to Core Carbon Principles related to governance, emissions impact, and sustainable growth.

Julio Montenegro, CEO of BlueGrace Bolivia, stressed the significance of collaborating with a reputable carbon credit firm known for its transparency, expertise, and integrity. BlueGrace is delighted to work together to protect these vital areas and further social and humanitarian projects benefiting the indigenous communities living within the forests.

A renowned financial institution, with a history of innovation in climate finance, plays a crucial role in aiding both financial and non-financial organizations in realizing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). This institution is a key member of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and will act as a custodial and settlement center for all transactions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Bonds within this initiative.

The exceptional land use in Natural Areas, as part of this project, “Natural Capital-Based,” using the IFC – Infinite Forest Carbon methodology applied to the Natural Area Forest, strictly adheres to the principles of Social, Environmental, and Sustainability. With zero emissions, it promotes the capture and accumulation of ‘tGEI.eCN’ assets, amounting to 3,163,960,000.00 metric tons, successfully achieving SDG Goal 13. This directly aids in emissions reduction through permanent compensation for CMNUCC control and can also be recognized as an SDG Goal 13, as recommended by the United Nations.

A Vision for a Greener Future

At the core of BlueGrace Energy Bolivia’s mission is the conservation of 8.3 million hectares of Bolivia’s Amazon rainforest. This effort signifies a major move towards establishing new benchmarks for responsible environmental care and sustainable energy progression in South America.

A Harmony of Conservation and Progress

BlueGrace Energy Bolivia seamlessly blends environmental conservation with economic growth. The company’s primary objective is to advocate for sustainable development goals, with a pronounced focus on transitioning to clean energy.

    Revolutionizing Carbon Credit Generation

Moving away from conventional methods, the project employs state-of-the-art technology, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and satellite imaging, to precisely calculate carbon credits. This novel approach guarantees a more accurate assessment of environmental effects.

    Community-Centric Initiatives

Beyond protecting the rainforest, the project also places the welfare of indigenous and agricultural communities living within its confines at the forefront. The goal is to allocate resources to social projects, encompassing infrastructure development, education, healthcare, and more.

    Our Vision

BlueGrace Energy Bolivia is dedicated to setting the standard in environmental conservation in South America, using Carbon Credits to propel clean energy, responsible mining, and the preservation of Bolivia’s Amazon rainforest.
