Dubai International Chamber, one of three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has opened a new representative office in Mexico City. This is part of efforts to strengthen the Chamber’s presence in Latin America and to explore new opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation. Dubai International Chamber’s Mexico office is the fourth office in Latin America and is tasked with identifying potential business opportunities in the market for member companies in Dubai.
As a strategic gateway to markets across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, the office will assist Mexican companies keen on entering the Dubai market. It is expected that the opening of the office will boost trade and investment between the UAE and Mexico, and align the strategic ambitions of both countries to drive sustainable growth and economic diversification in the post-COVID era and beyond.
Dubai International Chamber’s newly developed strategy aims at attracting 50 multinational companies to Dubai within three years, as well as supporting the expansion of 100 companies out of Dubai in priority foreign markets within two years with the goal of improving the business environment in Dubai and making it conducive to business growth.
